We’re HIHFY, a nonprofit organization founded by singer-songwriter and cancer survivor Harry Hudson. Inspired by his personal journey, Harry and his brother Remington created HIHFY to ensure that no young person faces cancer alone.

We focus on transforming the cancer care experience for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) by providing personalized resources, uplifting spaces, and a community of support. Through innovative programs and advocacy, we’re redefining what it means to care for young cancer patients—because we know that healing is about more than just medicine.

In 2013, Harry Hudson was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma at just 20 years old. His cancer journey was tough, but it taught him resilience and gave him a new perspective on life. It also showed him how lonely and overlooked young cancer patients can feel in hospitals designed for either kids or older adults.

After beating cancer, Harry found a deeper purpose. He pursued his dream of creating music, turning his chemotherapy journals into songs that connected with people around the world. But more importantly, he wanted to make sure no young cancer patient ever felt as alone as he once did.

In 2019, Harry and his brother Remington started Hey, I’m Here For You (HIHFY) to improve the care and experience of young people facing cancer. They work with hospitals to create welcoming spaces where patients feel seen, supported, and connected.

Harry’s journey shows that life’s hardest challenges can lead to incredible purpose. Through HIHFY, he’s making sure no young person fights cancer alone.

The Team

Our mission is to empower and support AYAs throughout their cancer journey by enhancing care in hospitals and creating uplifting spaces where young patients feel seen, supported, and loved. Through personalized programs, creative outlets, and a caring community, we’re building a world where every young person can find joy, connection, and purpose along the way.

We envision a world where no young person faces cancer alone. A world where emotional and social support are essential parts of treatment, and every AYA patient has the resources and community they need to embrace their journey with courage and hope.

Why It Matters

Adolescents and young adults are often caught in the gap between pediatric and adult cancer care, leaving them feeling isolated and overlooked. At HIHFY, we address these unique challenges by focusing on the whole person—not just the illness.

We believe every young cancer patient deserves spaces that inspire hope, programs that foster resilience, and a community that uplifts and empowers them throughout their journey.
